I’m sorry for the lack of updates... once I got to Newcastle, WY, it turns out I had a third bout of bladder infection and the symptoms were even more severe… I decided I needed to come back to Boston and get treated.
Hopefully I will be able to fly back out to Wyoming and finish the cross country trip next summer. It’s been so much fun writing the blog… and I hope to finish it next year. Thanks to everyone for following along, and I absolutely loved the comments that people added to the pages :-)
I was able to ride 2,600 miles, with around 1,400 left to go... this last picture seems appropriate:
Sorry to hear that Chris! I just learned that yesterday talking to Jimi but it's still a heck of achievement already :)
Holy shit Chris! I'm just now checking up on your progress and so sorry to find you in some distress. It's good you're coming back to us in one piece. You did prove me wrong by making it all the way across South Dakota - amazing, bravo! Hope to see you soon.
PS - Not many food pics once you got into SD 🤔
Have a safe trip home. Please don’t stop blogging, all the adventures deserve to be blogged , even food trucks :-). Hope you are having a speedy recovery!
2600 miles! That’s already a huge achievement! There are always better plans than we initially thought, and wise people adjust their plans accordingly all the time :-). The crossing 10 states 3 time zones riding was bringing us so much fun to follow (you enjoyed biking, we enjoyed watching:-) ). Boston weather is very pleasant recently, it’s good time to come back and enjoy our beautiful cities and beautiful New England late summer early fall life. We will see you soon!
It has been SO fun reading the blog. 2,600 miles is crazy! I'm sorry you're going through that, but I can't wait to see you. Guess this is one of the trials of Odysseus/ the Fellowship -Nof
