I was planning to start at 5am, but this is what was happening at that time:
So, I watched a YouTube video about the making of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, ate breakfast, and started riding at 7am...

One 🐑 , two 🐑, three 🐑… it’s good the storm started and ended before you were on the road.
Those commentary vids are so fun! The rolling hills are fun to ride on ... even when they're rolling in the "up" direction? ;) Also, pshh, that looks fine to ride in! -Nof
