Today I got to visit with my cousin Kim and her husband Adam and their three kids: Lukas, Macie and Levi. What great kids! After lunch, my uncle Jim and I rode our bikes to a local bike shop called Attitude Sports. They replaced my tires and also adjusted my brakes and derailleurs and did a professional job rewrapping my handlebars (fixing my amateurish attempt).

The Race Across America is one of the hardest ultra distance races in the world. It is longer than the Tour de France, and it is not broken into stages, so the competitors often ride night and day and can cover 300 to 400 miles per day. Along with Andy and Fiona's friend Jane Hansom, who is a champion senior Ironman tri-athlete, Dave is the most famous athlete I've ever met, and I was completely star-struck.
I'm going to stay in Fond du Lac one more day and then start riding to visit my cousin Katie and her family in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Read Wikipedia entry of “RAAM”, speechless. Some people are really different species. There are always more than one way to achieve same goal. They would have no time to blog while on the same path, you are biking, you are sharing the great experience, you have more photos, more videos, more new friends, and a lot more breakfasts.
Impressive athlete/s!
You would not have time to meet all those interesting people in 8 days and what about the food blog?
Are you ready to break early to watch the Euro 2024 this weekend?
Too cool! In that photo of you smiling, I completely see my smile. 8 days... I donm't know about that, that would be a very short blog! -Nof
